{"id":90,"date":"2022-11-02T22:24:57","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T22:24:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.massey.ac.nz\/crcc\/?page_id=90"},"modified":"2023-01-17T01:09:37","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T01:09:37","slug":"scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/crcc.nz\/crcc\/food-protection\/scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PhD Scholarships at the New Zealand-China Food Protection Network<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>New Zealand\u2019s three China Research Collaboration Centres, of which the New Zealand-China Food Protection Network (NZCFPN) is one, have recently developed a PhD opportunity with the China Scholarship Council (CSC)&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.csc.edu.cn\/\">https:\/\/www.csc.edu.cn\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Up to 10 NZCFPN PhD Scholarships will be available for top Chinese students who hold a Chinese passport, to study at one of the three Universities who are partners to the NZCFPN: Massey University, the University of Otago and the University of Auckland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NZCFPN encourages students to apply for one of these scholarships to undertake doctoral studies in New Zealand in the field of food protection, which includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Advanced diagnostic tools &amp; analytics<\/li><li>Risk assessment and mitigation<\/li><li>Market &amp; consumer perceptions<\/li><li>Genomics and related technologies<\/li><li>Chemometrics<\/li><li>Big Data and digital technologies<\/li><li>Traceability<\/li><li>Packaging<\/li><li>Food security, including food waste<\/li><li>Animal health &amp; production<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each scholarship will pay tuition fees for three years. Students are responsible for obtaining funding from China to cover the cost of living expenses and international travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarships are available immediately. Leading New Zealand researchers are available to supervise excellent students.
