It is hosted by Lincoln University, in partnership with AgResearch, Landcare Research, Plant and Food Research, Lincoln Agritech, and The University of Otago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives of the New Zealand \u2013 China Water Research Centre<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To coordinate collaborations between New Zealand and Chinese scientists from multiple organisations to mitigate water contamination, safeguard water quality, increase water use efficiency, mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, and combat climate change.<\/li><li>To develop enduring partnerships between New Zealand and Chinese scientists on water, greenhouse gases and climate change research.<\/li><li>To create new knowledge and novel solutions on water quality and climate change issues<\/li><li>To increase cultural understanding, enhance M\u0101ori engagement with China, and promote New Zealand as a centre of excellence in research and development in water and greenhouse gases for high quality food production<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For further information, please contact Professor Hong Di, email:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:Hong.di@lincoln.ac.nz\"><strong>Hong.di@lincoln.ac.nz<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The New Zealand \u2013 China Water Research Centre is one of three Centres funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation Employment (MBIE).
